Delicious sushi and a lot of variety. You can order or just take from the conveyor belt. Very fun and nice experience! Totally worthy. You have to go to the 8th floor and there you can find it. Sometimes it has a big queue but it goes fast

Good quality sushi but you have to queue. We queue for half hour. Reasonable prices. Eaten about 23 plates of different colour and it cost about 6100 yen. Consider cheap if compare from where we are from. Don't forget to eat the ice cream cone. Nice ending to a meal.

Sushi is good. I prefer sushi without extra onions and such but overall I am happy. The rice collapses all the time but the fish portions are big. They for the most part have staff who speak multiple languages and some tables have tablets with multiple languages too. Line is a bit long but moves quickly. The pudding is the really good I highly recommend.

If you're shy about going to a sushi restaurant or on a budget, the conveyor belt sushi is a convenient option that doesn't compromise on quality. On this trip Katsumidori is my choice on conveyor belt sushi. Their fish (and other seafood) are fresh and there is a lot of them. I went through eight plates (14 total nigiri sushi + a tamagoyaki) and left with a bill of ~1800 yen and a satisfied food coma. I chose the ikebukuro branch because I heard there's less waiting, and even then I waited (though only for about 15 minutes)

The line is long, but the food is so worth it! They have iPad ordering in English available, making it easy to place orders — which slide right to you on a pseudo mag-lev conveyor belt. So cool! The fish is so fresh, and the portion of fish is double to the rice for each piece of sushi — most of which are only $1-$3 a plate!! My husband and I ate like kings until our bellies were too full to eat any more, and our total was still under $40! Highly recommended!!! Pro Tip: come early! Even though they’re open until 11:00pm, they will cut off the line at 9:30pm (or earlier) as their “last customers”, so that you will have time to eat and clear out by closing time.

Great sushi and for an affordable price. We've been here three times in one week, because it was soooo good!

Very good sushi for a conveyor belt sushi place. Very affordable and delicious. Each plate is about ¥100-¥600 (premium menu items). Definately worth the wait (usually 15-30mins depending on time).

The wait here is quite long, so it's best to get in early. We waited for about 1.5 hours starting from 4:30pm. The seafood is very fresh and tasty, and not very expensive considering how good quality it is. The fatty tuna was amazing, and so was the salmon. Not sure I would bother waiting so long again, but definitely do not regret coming here.

An extremely long line up, but for good reason. The sushi was of great quality, and the service was great as well. It was also very cheap, as it is still a conveyor belt sushi. Many of the chef's and servers spoke both Japanese and Mandarin. There is also some English on the menu, along with pictures which make it very easy to order.

Bland at best. Midori used to be famous for the best sushi in any category. It was okay, but not what we have come to expect from Midori

Best sushi ever! Midori in Ikebukulo is more special than another brunch as you can order like go round sushi. The price compared to quality is over expected.

Probably the best conveyor belt sushi experience I’ve ever had... in my life. The tuna and unagi sushi were especially fresh and flavourful. Highly recommended.

Really good and very reasonably priced sushi. The portions are large and comes in a huge variety of seafood and flavours too. If you are a fan of aburi-style sushi, theirs is a must try. Comes in Salt “shio” and miso seasoning. Be prepared to wait a little, even after off peak hours but it will be worth it. The only slight downside is that the restaurant can be very busy and the waiting staff are often overwhelmed with orders resulting in sometimes slow service.

I had learn that if I want to eat the belt sushi. I need to eat to the banded. Not just walk on the street then you see and decide to eat it. Not work that way.So this the one of the banded that can trust. Highly recommended. Reasonable price. Sometime the chef do some auction. Fresh. The thing is queue usually long, but the queues are moving fast enough to bear with it. So give it a try. The time that you wait. It's gonna be worth it.

Great place. The food is always delicious and I have never had a bad meal here. The prices are an absolute steal for the high quality. I have eaten here many times, and it is always great. The line can be quite long, anywhere from 20 minutes to 1.5 hours, but it is always worth it. You need to come mentally prepared to queue, because there will be a queue. There is a huge menu with many different types of dishes including many non-sushi items (izakaya fare). The menu (paper for the bar and touch-screen for tables) is in multiple languages and easy to navigate. The staff is kind and helpful. This is a great place, well worth waiting for.

Fresh oysters, taste great! Conveniently located near Ikebukuro station. A bit on the pricier side (around 50$ USD per person for the 3 of us) but definitely would recommend if you want some fresh oysters when traveling nearby.

One of the better conveyor belt sushis that I've been to in Tokyo. However, I would like the rice more seasoned. You can take dishes off the belt or order off the ipad. Fast service and priced fair.

Well worth the moderate wait. We waited 40 minutes in between the lunch and dinner rush. The quality was very high relative to the cost. It was easy to take from the conveyor belt and the menu ordering is done using numbers listed on the menu. I recommend trying the duck loin. It was magnifique!

Waited 2 hours just to get in the restaurant at around 6p on a weekend. The sushi here is cheap and very good value for the money, but I don’t feel it was worth the 2 hour wait. The salmon on the day we went was not the best I’ve had at a katsumidori, but the negitoro gunkan and the fatty tuna were both excellent. Ordered dishes come relatively quick and you can always grab items off the conveyor belt. As always, pricing here is incredibly cheap and the sushi quality is always higher than what you’re paying for. Overall, katsumidori is still my favorite conveyer belt sushi chain, just try to come at an off peak time to avoid the lines.

Sat in the longest line, yet only took us 10min to get seated. Very quick and affordable, but would still prefer Sushiro as you get more for your money and the fish tastes fresher.

Absolutely amazing food. Totally fine if you don’t speak Japanese as the tablet has an English menu. Great service as well. A must go to for me when I am in the area. Don’t be too scared about the line, it moves quickly.
